I'm working on a blog post re: social media policies, the basic gist of which is that they are necessary but not entirely sufficient to address the risks associated with the use of 2.0 and other digital technologies by individuals and organizations. The blog post is the lead-in to a white paper I plan to write that provides more in-depth coverage of the issues (anyone want to co-author it with me?).

As part of the introduction, I will include results from studies that have surveyed folks about the status of social media policy development and implementation in their organizations. I checked LinkedIn and didn't find any related polls that had substantial responses, so I thought I'd create create my own!
You can provide your response in the embedded poll below or click here to access the poll on LinkedIn if you can't see it or are having trouble responding via the blog.
The poll will be open until early March. I appreciate your taking a minute to vote and add your comments/questions (which greatly enrich the quantitative data). And of course I also appreciate your sharing the poll with other people in your network.
Thanks so much! I look forward to seeing and reporting the results.
